Toronto Floorball League Announces Expansion to Five Teams

Toronto Floorball League Announces Expansion to Five Teams

Liam Hartigan

Toronto Floorball League (TFL) is growing!  Thanks to incredible player support and rising demand, TFL is expanding from four teams to five for the Winter 2026 season and we're looking for new players.

We’re currently welcoming new players who are looking for high-energy, well-organized, and competitive but friendly floorball. Whether you’re an experienced floorball or hockey player, or completely new to the sport, now is a great time to join.

TFL will be hosting an Open House on January 11 from 9am to 11am at Toronto Metropolitan University (Kerr Hall Gym) that anyone can join.   The Open House is FREE and there is no obligation to play the season.  Floorball sticks will be provided for new players.

In addition, we’re expanding our gym time by 30 minutes so that we can run three games every Sunday from 8:30am to 11am.  The TFL Winter 2026 season will run from January 11 to March 29

About Toronto Floorball League

TFL is Toronto's premier place to try floorball for the first time, hone your talents, or just get some exercise.

TFL has grown to include over 50 players across 5 teams. Each game has boards, a full-size court, two referees, a timekeeper, tracked statistics, a photo/videographer, and even a livestream with commentary.

But what really sets TFL apart is its community. Players are friends with each other off the court, so they respect each other on it. Games are competitive but friendly. It's a place for players of all skill levels to come together and experience the game they love - the only requirement is a good attitude!

Congratulations to the Flames on winning their 1st TFL Cup in the Fall 2025 season!
