Since 1998, Floorball Canada (FC) has been the official, national governing body for the sport of floorball in Canada. It is a self-governed, non-profit organization dedicated to developing, promoting, and regulating the sport from coast to coast.

OUR ROLE

As the leading authority for floorball in the country, Floorball Canada is responsible for:

• Governing the Sport: Overseeing the rules, regulations, and growth of floorball at all levels—from recreational leagues to elite national competitions.

• National Teams: Selecting, training, and managing the Men’s and Women’s National Teams (including U19 teams) for participation in the biennial World Floorball Championships and other international events.

• Domestic Competition: Sanctioning and organizing national events, including the annual National Championships and the elite Floorball League of Ontario (FLO).

• International Affiliation: Representing Canada on the world stage as an ordinary member of the International Floorball Federation (IFF) since 2001.

To grow floorball from the grassroots up by increasing access, awareness, and participation across Canada, in all communities, while advancing our national team programs to achieve sustained success and competitiveness on the international stage.
