Floorball Canada Seeking Staff for the Next U19 Women’s National Team

Media Release

The U19 Women’s National Floorball Team is looking to fill the position of General Manager, Head Coach, and Assistant Coaches.

The successful campaign of the 2016 U19 Women’s World Floorball Championship (WFC) has ended and it is time for a new season to begin. Preparation is underway to bring the U19 Women’s Team to the 2018 Women’s U19 WFC in Switzerland.

Floorball Canada is looking to fill the following positions: General Manager, Head Coach, and Assistant Coach. Candidates are to submit an application including a cover letter and CV to Floorball Canada as soon as possible. The deadline to apply for the General Manager position is January 27, 2017.

Once a General Manger is selected by the Floorball Canada Board, the process to select other candidates to fill the other positions will begin. The responsibilities of the positions will take place from February 2017 to June 2018. If anyone has any questions regarding the positions or the program, they are free to ask. Questions and applications can be submitted to info@floorballcanada.org.

“Given the success of floorball in Canada over the past year, it is exciting to get going again with the Women’s U19 program,” Floorball Canada President, Randy Sa’d, commented. Canada recently hosted the U19 Women’s WFC in Belleville, ON, which broke attendance records in the international floorball scene. Team Canada placed second in the B-Division of that tournament and is looking to finish in the A-Division in Switzerland.
